Investment and Costs
Couple therapy and coaching are an investment in the future. A couples therapy and coaching process requires an investment of money as well as time and energy. I will accompany you through the respective process with professional commitment and full attention. My time commitment goes beyond the session time, as I also prepare and follow up the respective sessions intensively.
How much does couples therapy or a coaching session cost?
Couple therapy is aimed at self-payers and unfortunately cannot be reimbursed by health insurance.
Fee
My fee is calculated as follows:
30-minute introductory conversation: free of charge
90 minutes of couples therapy: 200 €
60 minutes of individual therapy or coaching: 130 €
Individual therapy sessions are also part of the couples therapy process. Most couples who come to my practice are back on track with each other after 1-10 sessions. You can find more information about the process of couples therapy here.
* If couples therapy is not aimed at treating or preventing a psychological disorder such as adjustment disorder or depression, then the treatment does not clearly fall under Section 4 No. 14 Letter a of the VAT Act and 19% sales tax must be added. Since relationship quality has been proven to have a strong influence on our mental health (as shown by a large number of scientific studies), the indication for a psychotherapeutic or psychopreventive intervention is given in almost all cases. Due to its methodology and its effect, emotion-focused couples therapy is clearly a form of psychotherapy as a curative and preventative treatment (as opposed to pure counseling).
Coaching, on the other hand, is subject to sales tax, so 19% sales tax is added to a coaching session.
Invoice
Payment in the practice is possible by debit or credit card (no cash payment).
For online appointments, you will receive a payment link in advance, which you can use to pay via PayPal, instant bank transfer or credit card.
Please note that if you cancel less than 24 hours before the appointment, a cancellation fee of €100 will be charged. If you do not show up without prior cancellation, you will be charged the full fee.
